Pre-Production
Budget Sheet: The total estimated cost for the shoot is around 3000 only. this includes no cost of location (my bedroom and a local park in our society), talent (shooting with my cousin), equipment (borrowed it from my cousin with whom I was working) lastly props (makeup, clothing, necklace/ the show stealer, was all arranged at home). Overall the cost of only snacks and refreshments was included to create this budget friendly project.
Shoot Plan: The shoot was planned in the morning with Meerub which took place from 8am to 11 am. It was quite an early morning shoot as the main idea was to capture the best sunlight possible. We started in the room from 8 am to 9 30 am, capturing indoor scenes with natural light, focusing on close ups, portraits with details of showcasing past memories through props and Meerub’s look. After a brief break, we headed to the park from 10 am to 11 am, taking advantage of the soft morning light to capture outdoor scenes such as Meerub sitting and interacting with the nostalgic place where she met her lover, clenching the heart necklace.
Call plan: Luckily since my cousin was the model for my shoot ( Meerub ) I did not needed to procrastinate or stress over the hectic of punctuality of calling someone over. I just convinced her by buying her some food and we stayed for a sleepover while creating my opening sequence.
